I've been a huge fan of this album since 1973 when i heard it as a nine yr old. We had the tape, and I took it on holiday and played it on my Hanimax portable cassette.
Thanks to the recent purchase of the Pioneer amp, the fact my laptop has a mic input, other modern tech like Wavosaur capture sound recording software coming into the orbit of my conscious , the perfect storm developed. These things all came together, like a US super-storm off the East Coast: tech, chance and the idea.
The credits state 5days in the making, but that was for the video. The sound track first seen around 2:45 in moviemaker timeline audio track) took a week to get to the final happy with edit.
