Nice '69 ballad from The Dreams. This was the follow-up to 'Don't Be Afraid', a substantial hit from the year before. Led by Frankie Karl, who sadly passed away in '08, this track is Pookie's favorite by the Dreams. Released on the tiny D.C. Sound Ltd. label, distribution was by Bell/Amy out of New York, so I'm a little amazed this record didn't fare better on the air waves. Who knows? A super smooth sound by the Dreams, produced by funk pioneer Gene Dozier. Hope You enjoy this one.
