Dick Robertson and chorus sing the vocal on this song celebrating all things collegiate, still hanging on for dear life in Depression era 1931, November 13 to be exact. This is another early 30's song around which Isidore Freling based one of his hilarious Vitaphone Merrie Melodies. I'm thinking this is also an example of Victor's early experimentation with hi-fi recording which didn't last long because the steel needles still in use stressed the very loud groove--so here I am playing it with a steel needle!
