This orchestra comprised some of the best studio musicians who had worked for the Music Hall record company (Arg) in the 70s (hence the band's name). They surely participated in hundreds of sessions but, as usual, their real identities remain a mystery. This track was included in the 1st album released by the M.H.P.O. in 1977, and is hard to find in any condition nowadays. Behind the unattractive cover artwork there are some nice library-style pieces, mostly by European composers. However, it also contains some killer original tracks such as: Salsa Picante, Tiempo De Capricornio and Solo Bongo, which are only available here. The arrangements were made by Andres Massetti, a talented director, arranger and producer. There was featured on the album a fantastic version of Pierre Bachelet's Histoire De O, with sublime female scat vocal (even better than the original), and also a tremendous version of Papetti's Gin And It, with sinister distorted-wah guitar lines. But the highlights of the album probably came from Massetti's own compositions (Salsa Picante, Tiempo De Capricornio and Solo Bongo). Tons of Moog synths, Fender Rhodes, fuzz-wah guitars, female scat vocals, afro percussion, and hard drum-n-bass attacks!
