Eddie Kirkeby, aka Ed Lloyd, and sometimes Ted Wallace, (pseudonyms) was an american bandleader from the early 1920s to the early 1940s. He was one of the many ARC artists of the 1930s as well as he was the Manager of the California Ramblers. That as well as he was a member of many bands including The Vagabonds, Ted Wallace & His Campus Boys, The Goofus Five, The Varsity Eight, and many of his Own Orchestras too.

He would start to record under this name in 1928 on Parlophone. In 1929, he would start recording on the ARC labels. Labels like Regal, Banner, Domino, as well as a few Non ARC labels like Okeh. But no consistency at all. In 1930 he would also begin recording on Columbia. But in 1931 he would actually find consistency on the ARC labels. Recording on both Melotone and Perfect. But he would stop recording with this band in 1932.

He had no hits with this band.

The B side is called What A Life! which you can listen to here: https://youtu.be/hMOwm6Rra6c
