'YESTERDAY' is a song about reflection, retrospection of times long past and how it compares to the future. The sounds and rhythms I chose for this reflect a style quite familiar but dated, yet filled with so many familiar memories of an early pony fandom - when fun, dance-oriented complextro beats ruled YouTube in early 2012. I also chose to write the song with images of Luna and Celestia in mind, bearing a similar weight with elements of loving the fandom in youth, shying away and perhaps even shunning as I grew older, then returning arms open and content as an adult.
