The song, \"A Little Bird Told\", as well as , most of the songs, which were current back in the 1920's, 1930's, 1940's, & 1950's , was recorded by MULTIPLE PERFORMERS and usually, in the same exact year. However, in the case of the Evelyn Knight and The Stardusters version of, \"A Little Bird Told Me\", it was the \"hit\" version and the version most remembered today. Again, it was no crime to record any composition written back in the 1920's, 1930's, or 1940's, considered to be a prospective \"hit\" record. It was very common to have five, six, or seven different versions of a particular song being played by disc jockeys all across the country, during the same time period; it was common place and nothing out of the ordinary.
