Sam Lanin plays under the pseudo Bill Hays on this OK 41038 from May 4, 1928, with Miff Mole replacing Glenn Miller on trombone. The arrangement begins with a pretty sax solo and just gets better from there until Scrappy takes over on vocal! 33 rounds with the crank usually delivers enough torque to play most records, but for some reason it sometimes has trouble playing Columbia/Okeh records even with their silky surface and this one needed about 46 at the beginning then another boost in the middle!
