Andy Graziano's guitar is being miked with an Audio Technica 4047 MP and recorded through an API preamp. My Martin was recorded the same way. Ann Marie's guitar was recorded using the piezo pickup on the Ibanez AE-30 which sounds fantastic. For added realism, I ran her guitar through an acoustic IR on the Line 6 Helix. The bass is a 1973 Rickenbacker 4001s with flat wounds. This bass was restored by my uncle Phil. It was recorded through a Universal Audio 4710D and run through Waves CLA bass. The claps and tambourine were recorded with an Audio Technica 4033. The drum set is a Roland TD-11k and the drum sounds come from Native Instruments Abbey Road Drummer.
All the background vocals were recorded with various Audio Technica mics into an SSL Alpha Channel Preamp. There's a lot of off screen doubling going on for the background vocals. We didn't bother filming them because they looked pretty boring lol and would have been a waste of screen space.
I recorded and mixed this in Avid Pro Tools Ultimate and edited the video in Adobe Premiere.
