Skymind was released in 2003 and is the second studio album by the avant-garde band Taal, founded in the early 90s in France.
Taal could also be categorised as a progressive rock band, because they combine a wide variety of styles into their music. Elements of metal, chamber music, and cabaret all find their way into the unusual mix, and the arrangements include violin, flute, accordion, and a wide variety of other instruments along with guitar, bass, keyboards, and drums. The band dates back to the early 90s, though their first album did not appear until 2000.
