Artist: The Singing Cookes

Title: Mail Order From Heaven

Year: 1983

Label: Wind Chime

Source: Vinyl record

I've always said this is the Singing Cookes best album! I guess that's why I have it. Has 3 of their biggest hits on first side all in a row as well as a solid cover of the Stanley Brothers song Mothers at rest.

The Cookes should re-issue this album on cd because it would be a great seller on the product table. This record of mine has endured, as their song says.. \"many hills & many valleys\" but still sounds great! Had a minor skip on Victory Is Sweet and I cleaned and cleaned until it smoothed out. Sometimes we think a record has a scratch that causes a skip when in fact it is just some dirt or material clinging to the groove of the vinyl.

Hope you enjoy this album!
