[New Jack Swing/Funk/Soul/Slowjam/RnB/R&B] Here is the duo The Right Choice with their one and only self titled album: \"The Right Choice\". Honestly, I look at this group as sort of a knockoff version of the legendary electro funk group Cameo (Larry Blackmon, Tomi Jenkins, Charlie Singleton) because a lot of the tracks on this album are very reminiscent of the music that they made back in the 80's. There's not a whole lot of data on this group but one of the members (Archie Love) had a pretty decent career considering the odds that a lot of his stuff sort of went unnoticed at the time. The group consisted of Archie Love, Eric Shotwell (both vocalists) & Tony Black. Originally, Archie Love formed the group \"The Main Attraction\", which was signed by RCA Records and released one album in 1986. Since that album faltered, Archie Love decided to re-brand his group \"The Main Attraction\" to \"The Right Choice\" for one self-titled album with Motown Records and thus this album was born. Unfortunately this album also went unnoticed but that didn't stop Love from continuing to do music as he eventually went solo and released some music singles in the 90's and some albums in the 2000's. I assume this album failed because there just was bad promotion, or perhaps people got confused with them being too similar to Cameo, whatever the case the album is a pretty solid gem that deserves better recognition. This album was released under Motown Records '89.
*Btw, this is the CD version of the album which contains the bonus track: \"Holding Out On Me\" which isn't found/offered on the LP Vinyl, and the cassette release.*
