In the 1980s, female hard rock / metal bands were the exception to the norm. It was only much later that it became apparent that Original Sin (like the earlier Exorcist project) was the brainchild of one. David DeFeis lead vocalist of the epic metal masters of Virgin Steele. The original Sin featured vocals from Daniel Draconis, David's sister.

David DeFeis tells the whole story of the rather mysterious Original Sin \"Sin Will Find You Out\": “It was recorded and mixed in two days, a week after we recorded the Exorcist album. And just like we did with Exorcist, we rehearsed for a few short weeks and then went in and did it mostly live with a few overdubs. My sister Danae sings on the album. \"
