Mental Disease were a hardcore punk band from Kariya, Aichi, Japan.
This is their second album. In total they have released 3 albums, one 7\", and one split.
I found this band when listening to the sick Japanese crust compilation \"No Hesitation to Resist\". Whilst that comp does feature some more well known Japanese bands like Disclose, Effigy and Battle of Disarm, it also includes some more obscure bands. For many of them it's incredibly hard to find any of their music online, with physical copies seeming to be the only way to experience any of their songs outside of that compilation.
This was the case with Mental Disease, but I loved their track on the comp so much, with the dual ENT/Disrupt style vocals, that I went and bought this album on Discogs. Luckily this album did not disappoint and I might try and track down some of their other releases, especially their 7\", which, judging by the cover, looks to be a lot more like traditional Japanese crasher crust punk.
