Here's my video game saxophone cover of Stickerbush Symphony from Donkey Kong Country 2! I'm Sab and I love saxophone and video games, so now I make covers that combine two of my favorite things!

This cover really needed the extra week haha! The cover started out pretty simple, trying to bring some flavor to the original Stickerbush Symphony from Donkey Kong Country 2, but I started thinking about the version I heard more as a kid, which was the Super Smash Bros version. Bramble Blast was one of my favorite songs in Super Smash Bros Brawl. I wanted to mess around with purposeful layering with all the strings, choir, and percussion parts. I had a lot of fun getting to mess around and try new stuff in this arrangement!

It's such a beautifully simple song and I wanted to highlight that while bringing my own touch to the cover.

Things have been a bit crazy with student teaching so this cover had to take a backseat for awhile, but it's here now! Super excited to share the stuff coming out later this year! Lots of different stuff that really keeps pushing me creatively!
