Starting 2018 with a track that you probably weren't expecting. Lorde was someone I never really had strong opinions about, I always just put her in the 'Pop Artist Hub'. But I can remember when this song was first released and I heard it on the radio. I had just had a pretty shitty work day and this song just had so much life in it. Starting with the slow fading sound of piano chords and lorde's short vocal phrases, and by the first chorus you there's this big open almost heroic sound. At about the start of the year toad in the shadows rated this song as his number one hit of 2017, and a couple weeks ago I heard it on the radio again, those two events combined really inspired me to make my own version of the song.
Hope you like my version of Green Light, had a lot of fun putting this cover together. Looking forward to reading your comments.
