This is me, Bob 'Miff' Smith .....Once the lead singer of Demob and the songwriter of the classic single 'No room for you' from that Gloucester punk band way back in the late 1970s and early 1980s . This old song was the last one in my set at the ' Something Else in the Dean Festival' on the weekend and it just felt 'right' to give it an airing. I am immensely proud of this song and the fact that it's still held in such regard by so many people across the world. Thank you so much to anyone out there that bought it back in the day ...or that has sung along with it at a gig maybe...or maybe you've played it at full volume whilst sat perhaps thinking of those days....
