Dreams Of Stabbing And/Or Being Stabbed was the first My Chemical Romance recording. The EP was recorded in Matt Pelissier’s attic and is often reffered to as “The Attic Demos”. The demos were used to present to Eyeball Records in search of a record deal.

Supposedly there were two different versions of the attic demos. One had the three demos we got. The other had the three demos and the vampires demo titled \"stabbing\". This demo is lost to this day and has never been found. As for the drowning lessons demo its just a rumor, there's no proof it was on the attic demos. Another demo that people think is real is the early sunsets demo. It's fake. Its just a stripped version of the studio track.
