…A concept that has existed for a long time, but only in 2009 the project finally came to be. Based out of Alberta Canada, the musical styles range across the many sub-genres of dark and black metal, fast at times, but also sounding quite ambient and depressive. Each song created by Ov Hollowness has a definite intended purpose with regard to the feeling and sound created. The main focus for Ov Hollowness is the music, what is written, recorded, arranged, and what the listener takes in... not imagery, gimmicks, religion, or politics.
At the beginning of 2010 a demo was release (Demo - 2010) and received very positive feedback.
The middle of 2010 saw the release of the debut album, 'Diminished'... join this journey into darkness.
2011, Drawn to Descend was released on Hypnotic Dirge Records.
