Yoshi's Island is a game that I have neglected to hit up on this channel. When the meme with this song started circulating, it started getting stuck in my head. I found myself humming it a lot so I just decided I'd give in and give it a cover. It was cool finally getting to hook up my midi controller and use it in a cover again. Now that I have a system for it, I'm hoping to use more keys in my covers.

San Diego has been BEAUTIFUL this year. It's been raining like crazy so flowers are in full bloom (which is weird because it should be a desert). The original plan was to film this outside and feature the cool flower beds all around us, but everyday it's been too cold outside to film. Super bummer but I still think the video turned out okay!

These next few weeks are going to be insane for me. I'll be attending GDC and PAX East (I have a performance at the jamspace on Saturday at 2pm!) and then I'll be joining The Runaway Guys on their Thrown Controllers Tour performing with Adriana right after that! I'm hoping to still have covers each week for you guys. At the end of the month I have a cool idea for a sponsored Ernie Ball cover with a new toy they're sending me!

Oh and next week is one of the biggest collaborations on my career. Up there with John Petrucci. Be excited. :)
