This is yet another track that was totally off the cuff, with some great riffs and melodies, but the production left something to be desired. Today I took the opportunity to reign in a lot of the instruments (everything was pushed up 6dB almost), and get in some new mastering and EQing to make everything fit better.

As always, I led the way with Isotope Ozone in the processing department and made a lot more room for both the bass guitar and the kick drum. The result was track that was a lot more consistent and loud without blowing your speakers out.
