Well, here's an interesting one. Released on the now defunct Gooom Disques label, the Purple Confusion alias was a collaborative effort between six of Gooom's artists - Jean-Philippe Talaga, the founder of Gooom; Anthony Gonzalez & Nicolas Fromageau from M83; Tetsurou Yamashita & Atsushi Yoshioka from Moughqual; and Morgan Daguenet from Les Autres. This was the only release under this alias, and outside of an extra track released on a sampler and a vocal version of Return to Nassau, nothing else was ever made. Everyone has since continued on down their own careers - most notably, M83 would go on to find commercial success after Nicolas departed the project, with Anthony continuing solo. Nicolas has since formed another band, Team Ghost, with Jean-Philippe joining him. Les Autres has been active uploading archives of older works, and Moughqual would release one more album in 2007 before going dormant.
