This is my second album, recorded mostly in 2005, during the Great Tape Crisis. As with the debut album, not all of it has aged well. In particular the intro to side 2 with the narration idea totally stolen from Hawkwind's \"Live Chronicles\" album makes me want to facepalm. But there are also some bits which I'm rather proud of.
For this release I've also unearthed a couple of bonus tracks which didn't make the grade - a narration fragment track that required a wider vocal range than I have, and also the original ending track for the Daniel Ti'Fiona series. It ended with whistling that I couldn't get to sound right, and I wasn't sure about the melody either, but I couldn't rerecord it. Eventually I was able to get some more tape stock and recorded a new version which is the one that went on the album. It still could have done with a link track between Dan's near death and his revival, it was going to be called 'Resurrection Ferret' but I wasn't able to write something I was happy enough with.
This is my debut album, recorded in 2004. I'm not sure all of it has aged well, but there are still some gems, particularly 'Quest for the Sacred Jaguar'. I will upload the rest of my albums in due course.
