I know virtually nothing about this record, except that it was written and produced by Wayne Carson (Thompson), composer of \"The Letter\". The April Fools may have been a session group he assembled.
\"Things Go Better With You\" (the title comes from Coca-Cola's ad slogan of the time) got some radio airplay, though I don't know if it made any national charts. It was even covered by a Hong Kong band called The Magic Carpet.
This was the April Fools' only MGM release -- there was one more April Fools single, on the Monument label.
