Here is our first single of 2019! ‘Trip Switch’ is part of a monthly streak, in which we release a new song every four weeks! This heavy alternative, yet quite a danceable song, is about the struggles of being an introvert in an extraverted world. In the video accompanying ‘Trip Switch’ we see Guy Pek, Grenadeers’ drummer and songwriter, staring into the camera while being distracted in many ways, including but not limited to throwing food at him and covering him in soft drinks. Shot in one take, this video represents the often ridiculous distractions of the outer world and the way this introverted individual decides to deal with them: by doing nothing and trying not to laugh.
