I'll have y'all know i've been to Muhlenberg County, a few times. Got some friends who live up there, it's not too far from Nashville. So I guess Mr. Peabody's coal train didn't haul it ALL away, but I do love this song. If you don't already know her (and you should), let me introduce you to Kelsey Waldon. We've known eachother for some time now, running around this big little town of Nashville. Glad to have finally sat down and got her to play our recorders a few songs!
Oh, and she just signed to John Prine's record label, Oh Boy Records (https://www.ohboy.com/ ), and played with him at the Ryman last week. Well, how about that, here's a song by Prine that Kelsey and the gang (Vickie Vaughn on bass and Rachel Baiman on banjo) decided to pick on the back porch. Enjoy!
