Amii Stewart's 7th album was released September 1988. It was recorded in London, produced by Greg Walsh. After the synth-pop of Amii's 1986 album, Time For Fantasy saw her return to the more soulful style that she had pursued on Try Love. However, Fantasy did not yield any big hit singles. I Still Believe was issued as a single. Originally recorded by Brenda K. Starr the year before, it would become a #1 single for Mariah Carey a decade later. Amii's 1987 single It's Fantasy (#14 in Italy and used for a Campari ad) was included in the album.



The album has been reissued countless times with different artwork and titles on various budget labels. The original album cover is pictured here. I have included a rare 1986 duet with Leslie Mándoki, Big Brother Is Watching You.
