Thelma Camacho [Full Album + Bonus] (1980)

Thelma Camacho was part of Kenny Rogers' group First Edition in the late 60s but branched out with a few solo singles in the early 70s. Late 1979 she signed with Casablanca Records (home of Donna Summer, Village People, Kiss and Parliament a.o.) and released a self-titled LP early 1980, launched by the singles Love Will Carry Me Home and Jesse James, all of which sunk without a trace. A shame 'cause it is a really nice pop album with some good tunes, and Thelma has a very pleasant voice. I have added a few early tracks as bonuses. She moved to Europe during the 80s and released one single in 1989, Don't Ever Let Me Down, under the name Tess Ivie, the B-side of which was a new recording of I Let Love Make A Fool Out Of Me from this LP. As always, let me know if you enjoy it.
