This song is a favorite of Hifi Tim's, from Top Shelf Oldies. I only learned earlier tonight of the passing of George Ellis McCannon III on October 16, 2015. George McCannon III recorded a number of songs I enjoy and have played on Top Shelf Oldies, and he will definitely be missed. My deepest condolences go out to his family and friends. This recording came out in early 1968 and was the B side of a non-charting release. George recorded into the 1970's and spent most of his life in New England, where he continued performing until his retirement to Florida a few years ago.
