Back in January 2010 I shared this record on Youtube via a gramophone and felt it could be further enhanced by being issued on mp3. Thanks to Jonathan Holmes this has now been done.
\"Love me or leave me\" was composed by Gus Kahn and Walter Donaldson. It was originally featured in the Eddie Cantor stage show \"Whoopie\" but was not transferred to the 1930 film version.
This was one of ten examples of the tune recorded by British dance bands. Alfredo adopts an appealing style with his rendition which features a vocal chorus by Joe Leigh.
