\"The smiles of Frank and Jamie James are very familiar to me. We attended the same church several years ago, so when Jamie asked me if I'd be willing to write the liner notes for an album she and Frank had just finished, my answer was, \"Sure, I can't see any reason the Lord wouldn't want me to.\" Later, I got to thinking, My, I don't ever remember hearing either of them sing, except in the choir, and although we went to the same church for a long time, I really didn't know either of them personally. How will I write this liner? Well, Jamie gave me a tape of the album so I got alone and began to pray and listen to the songs. You know, Jesus said, If I be lifted up I will draw all men unto me and as I listened, song after song pointed to the Lord Jesus as Savior, Lord and comfort. I really enjoyed the songs about Jesus. I enjoyed the simplicity of the songs, for God's word puts it all so simply. All have sinned and come short of the glory of God the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. And then, whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. The bible says so plainly that salvation is not the last thing to receive before death, but the first thing to receive before life...real life. Jesus said, \"I came that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly. Salvation...the beginning of life, oh, then comes all the promises of God to His children. Through God's great goodness and love that Frank and Jamie sing about flows peace, health, prosperity, comfort, guidance, fellowship, yes, and even repentance, for it's not the wrath of God, but the goodness of God that leadeth us to repentance.
