Dror Etkes is an Israeli researcher who has been documenting the illegal building and expansion of settlements in the occupied West Bank for nearly 20 years.
He is one of the leading voices on what has been happening in the occupied West Bank over the years, and has set up an NGO to work on that.

Al Jazeera’s Stefanie Dekker went for a drive with Etkes, and he showed her how illegal settlements have been growing - both settlements recognised by Israel and those considered illegal outposts.
Both, according to Etkes, serve the same aim: a government-sanctioned land grab.
