This concept lo-fi album follows a story that starts from the track 'Youth.' Wherein, a young man is explaining his ambitions in life, to his newfound love. Being really young, he's excited about the future, and is eager to experience what life has to offer.
As time passes, he realises that life isn't all a bed of roses. This is where 'Rage & Love' stands in the story. As his relationship begins to go downhill., he experiences all sorts of emotions.
Fast forward to 'Life is but a dream.' Years have passed, his love is gone, he ends up being somewhat lonely, carrying the baggage of his past. The only way to move forward for him would be to let go.
Eventually, he starts looking back at his life in 'Shiki no Uta.' He directly refers to his lover as a \"proud stray dog\" that he so fondly recalls.
'Nothing left to say' is an interlude.
From 'Marine Drive' to 'Pale Blue Dot' the album transitions into a rather nihilistic theme.
