Founded by frontman Iván Exe and guitarist Ferran Montasell in 2012, Exessus began to be claimed as an extraordinary Thrash Metal band in Barcelona (Spain) and its surroundings. The release of their debut album ‘Time in Coma’ in 2017 together with their live shows granted the band recognition in their country as well as in Europe. Their refreshing rethinking of Thrash Metal made metalheads remember what this music is all about: authenticity – you know the meaning of that word if you’re in the Metal world, although it has been long forgotten in time.
