Tuber are a band from Greece but you'd think they came from California & brought the desert with them. Whatever else you might say about Tuber‘s newly-issued second full-length, Out of the Blue, it certainly lives up to its name. Last time we heard from the Greek instrumental four-piece, they were playing Desertfest Berlin 2017, thanking the crowd, and then all of a sudden, they’ve got a follow-up to their 2013 debut, Desert Overcrowded, posted on their Bandcamp. And it’s not just another record — it’s one that brings in copious keyboard elements and different styles to add progressive flair and scope to the band’s riffy underpinnings.
