The Glass Harp - United Audio Demo (1969) (Correct speed) [FULL ALBUM]

Playing Next: Shag - Shag 1969 (full album)

*Corrected speed, pitch & panning* The Glass Harp -United Audio Demo (1969)

โ€œLess than 20 copies were produced by the Youngstown, Ohio record label. Only the first two tracks were ever released on United Audio 6002 45 single in 1969. The rest of the tracks were never officially released. The other songs never ended up being used on any future release by Glass Harp or Phil Keaggy. Theย  rare early psychedelic guitar andย  vocal work of Phil Keaggy with John Sferra on drums and Steve Markulin on bass!โ€

โ€œThis demo is from 1969, and here the group is very influenced by groups like Quicksilver Messenger Service (Phil Keaggy sounds especially influenced by John Cipollina, he even makes quite extensive use of the tremolo lever) and Vanilla Fudge, while the music moves between the waters of Sanfranciscan acid rock and heavy psych that a few years later would be taken by groups like Morly Gray and Top Drawer.โ€
