[Rock/AOR/Pop/Freestyle/Dance/Latin Freestyle/House/New Jack Swing] Here is the SUPER RARE album: \"NightCat\" marketed for Marvel comics. Since i uploaded the video of Dominic Holland (Dom Holland) talking about his son Tom Holland becoming Spider-Man it dawned on me the commercial failure that was NightCat. I know a lot of Marvel fans are searching for this album because it is very hard to find and i'm sure for good reason under Marvel 's sake. It's a great album and don't be mislead to believe that this is a metal album (partly due to the cover), because it's pure dance pop, with traces of house, new jack swing, and freestyle. Nightcat was created by Jim Salicrup, Barry Dutter, Stan Lee, Denys Cowan and Jimmy Palmiotti. Marvel creator Stan Lee wanted to develop a female superhero who crossed over into the real world. Like Dazzler, this hero was also a rock singer. So they released an issue of the Nightcat comic book and hired actress/singer Jacqueline Tavarez to embody Night Cat in real life (Literally walk on the streets dressed as the superhero, perform as the superhero, do interviews as the superhero, you name it). This album was recorded and the song \"#1 House Rule\" (Track 1) was also released as a single due to the fact that the comic wasn't selling and Stan Lee was agitated so he contacted my favorite record company to produce it: Lefrak-Moelis Records (LMR) which housed king of freestyle Stevie B., Pajama Party, and Jaya. Both the comic and album bombed and Jacqueline was fired, she claims because she appeared in a music video by Long Island Lolita Amy Fisher's ex-lover Joey Buttafuoco. She has since appeared nude in the film Tromeo And Juliet and that's about it. Today, she apparently now goes by the name Jacqueline Love and poses naked on some x-rated site. A shame because Tavarez can sing [*rumor has it the real singer of NightCat is allegedly: NIKKI GREGOROFF*] and the track \"I've Finally Found Someone\" (Track 4) really had potential to be a home run hit...but who knows that's just my favorite track on the album to be honest. lol I'm sure Stan Lee and Marvel has tried to burn everything about NightCat but it hasn't stopped Anthony's Channel to bring it to the public. This album was released under LMR (Lefrak-Moelis Records) '91.
