I just love this track by The Detroit Spinners, there's a tribute I want to make to Harvey Fuqua who had several record labels and he wasn't doing so well with his now very rare label \"Tri-Phi\" in the early 60's he had been in the group \"The Moonglows\" in which Marvin Gaye was also a member, when things weren't that good, Harvey's brother-in-law, Berry Gordy Jr offered to take him into his Motown set up, and so he brought The Detroit Spinners, Jr Walker & The All Stars, The Fantastic Four, etc with him!! even Ann Bogan who became one of The Marvelettes was with Harvey's labels, he finished up as such a good writer and producer for Motown on a par with Holland, Dozier, & Holland in fact, a good story eh?
PS Sorry about the quality of this video but it's the song that counts eh? Please let me know if you like it? JOHN
