ITEM is a special band to me. they're art rock cowboys, they're shoegazers with taste, they're experimentalists with an appetite for more. this band has managed to create a dashingly large dent in a genre weighed down by it's own incredible mediocrity by its second release, an impressive way to showcase your weight. while in title it seems silly, this album packs a punch unlike any other. catchy melodies, extremely well-written lines, production that sparkles and shines, etc. I could go on about this band. I've pushed them onto so many of my friends that now im gonna push them onto you. listen close, listen hard. you might find this to be slipping into the bottom of your heart.
