\"The Dogs Party\", Anonymous.
Dog has been Man's Best Friend for thousands of years. This song answers a question about that friend that has puzzled the sages for a similar period of time! Some songs are never claimed by anyone. This is one of them. Personally I ascribe it to the Australian Bush Poet, Henry Lawson. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Henry_Lawson
[C] The dogs were having [F] a party,
They [C] came from near and [G7] far.
[C] Some flew in by [F] aeroplane,
And [C] some drove [G7] in by [C] car.
They went into the [F] lobby,
And [C] signed the visitors' [G7] book.
[C] And each one hung his [F] asshole,
Up-[C]on a [G7] separate [C] hook.
[C] One dog was not [F] invited
And [C] this aroused his ire
He [C] burst into the [F] meeting place
And [C] loudly [G7] shouted, [C] Fire!
Now the dogs were so [F] excited
They [C] had no time to [G7] look
And [C] each one took an [F] asshole
From [C] off the [G7] nearest [C] hook.
[C] It is a sad sad [F] story,
For [C] it is very [G7] sore,
To [C] wear another´s [F] asshole,
You've [C] never [G7] worn be-[C]fore.
And that is why when two [F] dogs meet,
By [C] land or sea or [G7] foam,
Each [C] sniffs the other´s [F] asshole,
In [C] hope [G7] it is its [C] own.
