Welcome to my very first 78 upload! I'm starting off with a seldom seen \"Personal\" label featuring Guy Lombardo and his Royal Canadians with vocal by Carmen Lombardo, from 1930.
The song is \"Sunday Evening\", one of the first records of Guy's \"sweet band\" sounds that would make him world famous.
I think this tune would have fit in nicely with the tunes on the soundtrack of the movie Paper Moon, dont you?
My thanks to my friend 2reeler for restoring the audio, (taking out the pops and clicks at the beginning of my record) and for making up this awesome video for me! There were several digs on the record, which are now magically gone, thanks to 2reeler!
