Wow, where do I begin? Corpsicle was the name of a band that I was in when I was in high school. This is not that band, this is just me.

That band barely existed. In fact, the only gig corpsicle did besides an audition to perform at an R.O.A. evening (which failed) was in front of a few school chums and I wasn't even there. (They performed without a drummer too).

No, this is just an experimental album I recorded years ago and I needed a name for it so I just used the bands old name.

I was trying new recording techniques and equipment so I wrote a few songs and ended up recording this pile of noise.

In respect to the original band, I tried to write songs in the style I think we tried to be and gave it the sound I think we would have wanted.

The only songs we ever learned as that band were \"Louie Louie\" and \"Silver Machine\", so again, in respect to the original corpsicle I recorded covers of those songs too.

I just wanted to try something a bit different to my usual material and sound a little bit classic rock but with my lack of guitar skills (none at all) and not wanting to rely on Dan to play all of my guitar parts, I actually found this quite a difficult task and not such a brilliant idea.

Being a keyboard player and not being able to really play the guitar meant this album lacked face melting guitar solo's where I might have wanted them and compensated with bland organ solo's instead. (Organ solo's are good, just not when over killed)

It was a good way to learn new recording techniques though which I used in later TDG recordings as well as my own.
