Michael Sembello - Automatic Man 1983 [FULL ALBUM SINGLE]

Playing Next: R̲a̲in̲b̲o̲w̲ Bent out of Shape Full Album 1983

[Electro/Synth Pop/Dance/AOR] Here is Michael Sembello with his 12\" Maxi Promo Single titled: \"Automatic Man\". It contains all three mixes offered on the album: \"Automatic Man (Extended Remix)\", \"Automatic Man (Instrumental Remix)\", and the \"Summer Lovers (Long Version)\". He is mostly known for his mega hit: \"Maniac\" which was featured in the film: \"Flashdance\" in 1983. Me personally, my favorite track from him is \"Automatic Man\", i constantly listen to it all the time, so you can see why i own this rare promo single of it. His full name is Michael Andrew Sembello, he was born on April 17, 1954 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Bossa Nova Hotel was his debut album which contained both \"Automatic Man\" and \"Maniac\". Released in September 1983, \"Automatic Man\" became a US top 40 hit peaking at #34. On the US dance chart the single reached the #14 position. \"Automatic Man\" became Sembello’s last single to chart on the Billboard Hot 100. It's funny because the B-Side of this 12\" single contains Sembello 's \"Summer Lovers\" which is the theme song for the 1983 Warner Brothers film of the same name starring Peter Gallagher and Daryl Hannah. This 12\" maxi album single was released under Warner Bros. Records '83.

(You can listen to the Radio Edit of \"Automatic Man\" found on the Bossa Nova Hotel album through this link: https://youtu.be/5s0b212oUSM)
