French Church - Slapneck 1943 (warning, lots of fuzz guitar!)

Playing Next: Jim Reeves - Mexican Joe 1953
Random Page  /  Random Song

The French Church brings you a few hundredweights of fuzz!

And of course, from where else but Garage fuzz Mecca, i.e. Michigan!
Some info I found on garagehangover.com:

The French Church were from Marquette, a town on Lake Superior about 180 miles north of Green Bay, WI. Members were Mike Cleary vocals, John Spratto guitar, Gordon MacDonald bass, and his brother Warren MacDonald drums.

This was one of the first ever garage songs I heard! I bought my first comp: \"The 60's Choice Collection Of Scarces Garage Records Volume 1 & 2\" when I was a mere student in a small town in Holland, in 1992.
I've been collecting garage/punk/fuzz ever since then!
