Silver Convention's Sylvester Levay & Michael Kunze had a fall-out in the summer of 1977 but settled their disagreements a year later. In the spring of 1979 they recorded the album Boogie Me with Ariane (real name: Beate Schnorrenberg, born 1951), a former German schlager singer who at the time was married to football player Jupp Kapellmann. The album, however, was not successful.
