This was purportedly among the more popular recorded versions of this major 1930 hit (the leading best-seller is thought to have been by Waring’s Pennsylvanians: https://youtu.be/oNHZZ-gUV6I ). ‘Ted Wallace’ was one of the pseudonyms used on record by bandleader-vocalist-organizer Wallace T. “Ed” Kirkeby, also remembered as manager of the California Ramblers and Fats Waller.
