Shirley Magnuson plays a favorite! \"When engulfed by the terror
Of tempestuous sea
Unknown waves before you roll
At the end of doubt and peril is eternity
Though fear and conflict seize your soul (Verse 1)
(Verse 2)
When surrounded by the blackness
Of the darkest night
O how lonely death can be
At the end of this long tunnel
Is a shining light
For death is swallowed up in victory
(Chorus)But just think of stepping on shore
And finding it heaven
Of touching a hand and finding it God's
Of breathing new air and finding it celestial
Of waking up in glory and finding it home
Sing along if you can! What great mediation for the soul from Don Wyrtzen. Thanks.
The wisest man of all time, our Lord, Jesus Christ said it this way if you will allow for the traditional translation in John 14.
John 14:1-7 1 Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. 2 In my Father's house are many mansions: if [it were] not [so], I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. 3 And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, [there] ye may be also. 4 And whither I go ye know, and the way ye know. 5 Thomas saith unto him, Lord, we know not whither thou goest; and how can we know the way? 6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. 7 If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him.
\"Think on these things!\" The world is getting filled with craziness, but Jesus Christ is the same, yesterday today and forever. That was my Dad's life verse and few even of those closest to him know it.
More of Mrs. Shirley Maguson's piano renditions coming soon!
