Down on Royal St. in the French Quarter, across from the Begniet Cafe is the best kept secrest in all of New Orleans. A string band named, \"Yes Ma'am\".This amazing group has a sound that is totally unique to all of New Orleans and the French Quarter. The lead singer plays the guitar and with his feet plays the tambourine, a desk bell (that's right a desk bell), and a bass drum that's actually a suitcase.The banjo and mandolin players are phenomenal and the violin player has to be heard to be believed.In short this is the best kept secret in the French Quarter and all of New Orleans music for that matter.
