Aphor is a French Epic Metal band.



Our music stands out due to its epic vibe with Atmospheric Black Metal and Pagan Metal influences.



The lyrical themes we focus on are sung in English and relate to a fictional universe we invented.



Thus, our first album makes us dive in an abyssal myth where several atmospheres follow each other as the story evolves ...

Aphor est à l'Epic Metal ce que la pomme de terre est à la purée.



Emanant d'une rencontre entre le Pagan et le Black Atmosphérique, notre musique dégage un arôme épique. En bouche, les vents et les cuivres se déposent sur le palais tandis que les cordes flattent la langue de leurs mélodies, qu'ils ont gouleyantes. Nous noterons également des éléments folks en fin de bouche.



Les thèmes sont abordés en anglais et sont issus d'un univers fictif dont Aphor est à l'origine.



Ainsi le premier album nous plonge au sein d'une légende marine dans laquelle se succèdent différentes ambiances, évoluant avec le récit ...
