Mangoo - Neolithic (Full Album) In the dull musical climate of today Mangoo represents something truly unique and fresh. In their own private atmosphere of Rock awesomeness they are the ones orchestrating the weather, and the forecast is more than pleasant. Catchy hooks and sweet vocal harmonies backed by a wall of thick fuzzy guitars and hard hitting drums with an added sprinkling of analog synth sounds, combined they result in a truly unique sound. Stoner rock, psychedelic hard rock, space rock or maybe it's just best described as Mangoo.
Hailing from Turku, Finland, Mangoo have been busting out the fuzz since 2005 when they released their untitled debut EP. Countless beers, headaches, shows and drummers later the first full-length, Neolithic (7:45 Records); was released in 2009, receiving nothing but excellent reviews and radio airtime. Relentless and successful touring in support of the album in their native Finland followed the next years. Since then the line-up has remained unchanged with Pickles playing guitar and singing, Mattarn busting out more guitar riffs, Igor slaying on the bass, Teemu pounding away at the drums and Nicke playing keys and just generating weird noises.
